More tips for GC blogging
· Remember to always share your stories on social networking sites like Facebook. It is also a great idea to post the URL of your profile or main blog on other sites you use, like Twitter, Facebook, or other blogs you may have. To find out more GC-specific ways incorporating Facebook and Twitter into your blogging, which includes a chance to give to charity, please see here.
· Be confident about making other students at Brown, as well as faculty members, a part of your blogging experience. This may include written or audio/video interviews with them, or simply incorporating their work, experiences, and opinions into your own blog through quotes, citations, etc. This also broadens the perspectives represented within your stories.
· Read the Global Conversation regularly to see what other people are blogging about and, where possible, weigh in on their conversations. Along with this, we highly recommend you following GC on Facebook and Twitter (where GC posts are also seasily searchable using the #globalconvo hashtag)
· Your blogging will get better as you do it more — and you must not be discouraged by a minor technical challenge (in which case, please contact us) or lack of total satisfaction with your with first post or two.
