After 8 weeks of collecting and editing footage and interviews while simultaneously tutoring at Semillero, the video for their website is complete! As the director sends out newsletters to solicit donations to purchase a new house before their current lease runs up, I hope that this video will serve as a useful tool. Additionally, I think it will encourage potential volunteers to come work at Semillero as this video encapsulates and demystifies what happens at this small nonprofit project in Santa Ana, Guatemala. P.S. There are a few clips of some of the workshops Daniel and I ran for the children last week. Shown in the video-- origami and jewelry-making.
