Steve Daniels graduated from Brown University in 2010 with an independent concentration in Technology for Emerging Markets. He launched a new magazine titled Makeshift at an event on the first day of the Better World by Design conference 2011. The magazine profiles innovators around the globe and examples of creativity in developing countries. Steve himself is very much an innovator; currently working in IBM, he also co-founded A Better World by Design in 2008 with Tino Chow from the Rhode Island School of Design.
