When I visited Kuwait, as I was flipping through the photographs that inspired this project, I found an old photo-album of scans of the pictures. In this album my grandfather had annotated each photo in the margins, framing the time and place of the photographs within his witty captions and nostalgic memories.
So in this short video is my attempt at bridging his memories with mine of Egypt through a quick (very, very, very rough) montage of his memories and mine.
