Report from Greece on Brown homepage

A blog post from Greece by Valerie Bondura ’13, a double concentrator in Archaeology and the Ancient World and Latin American Studies and a Brown International Scholar, appeared on Brown’s homepage on July 6.

In her post, titled “What it Means to Live in Greece Right Now (or "The Persistence of the Frappé"), Bondura gives a “sidewalk view” of the daily reality of Greece’s current economic and political situation and contrasts the Greeks’ current passionate political engagement with the “constant ephemerality of life [that] is inherently Greek.”
