The Watson Institute for International Studies has announced the opening of applications for the 2012/2013 AT&T New Media Winter Fellows! The fellowships provides Brown students with funding of up to $1,500 to engage in innovative projects that address global policy issues and critical international questions during the winter break.
This media fellowship program, now getting its fifth cohort, has given previous participants the opportunity to travel to over six continents, engage local communities, and document their experiences using new media.
Fellows will blog about their experiences on the Global Conversation website; you can sample the work of the previous group of Winter Fellows here, and read a Brown Daily Herald piece on their experiences here.
