Emily just finished her freshman year at Brown and is heading to Bamako, Mali this summer with an UTRA team and Michelle Bach-Coulibaly to study Mande dance and the way in which performance can mobilize community health education. She is incredibly excited to return to Mali and Senegal this summer since she spent four months living in Senegal during her gap year. Full of moving, laughing, and Bambara, this adventure is sure to be an eventful one!
