Katherine Reardon

Profile

I'm a senior at Brown studying Cheetahs, Predator Protection, Husbandry, Tracking, Livestock Guarding Dogs, and Cheesemaking at the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia. I'm spending six weeks conducting research for my thesis on the subject of Focal Palatine Erosion, a disease that decimates captive Cheetah populations, while working as an intern at CCF and learning how their organization runs and is operated. I've worked in animal care for over ten years, most of that time spent at Zoo Boise, and am relishing the opportunity to apply what I've learned in an international setting.
